I must apologise for writing this newsletter in April but times have been rather busy.
4TH March Coffee Morning.
These coffee mornings are showing better attendance as the cakes are becoming more popular. Lots of people arrived to share a slice of cake over a cup of tea and coffee as well as buying some to save for later! Chocolate cake, Lemon Drizzle, Victoria Sponge- filled with jam and fresh cream plus Gingerbread Men were available with slices of Rocky Road and Pistachio and Cranberry Cookies. Tasty tasty!
Watch out for future coffee mornings when different cakes and something extra nice will be available to try.
31st March Public Talk – Artists at War
This was given by Dr. Tom Ratcliffe, our own chairman, who is developing a reputation for giving interesting and informative Art History Talks. This one was no exception. Many stayed to ask questions and did not seem to want to leave! In fact he has been asked to repeat his talk in Halifax. Well done Dr. Tom.
The AGM will be on 8th May 4pm in The Smith Gallery
