Roger Davies – library painting.

Brighouse artist, Roger Davies was on hand to unveil his picture of the library at our March event.
The Friends of the Rydings commissioned the work at the suggestion of Linda Freeman (Team Leader, Libraries). Linda attended to photograph the unveiling.
Roger told us that he made sketches of the library when he was a student and hoped that one day he would get the opportunity to paint the building.
Roger’s colourful, cheerful work brightens the meeting room. We hope that visitors enjoy the work for many years to come.
