St Andrew’s Junior School join Roger Davies for an Art Workshop.

The Friends of the Rydings provided funds for two art workshops attended by Y4 pupils from St Andrew’s Junior School.  Roger Davies’ exhibition, Welcome to Calderdale, is currently on display in the far gallery. He welcomed the children into the exhibition and spoke to them about his work.

The children had the opportunity to create their own art based on the buildings of Brighouse.

To add to the excitement, BBC Look North came along to film the event.  We hope that it will be broadcast on the programme soon.
